Just letting you know I am leaving at 2 today, my throat is soar.
After I responded to this co-worker’s email with my sympathies, I received the following response:
I feel bad for leaving but I want to nip this in the butt in case I am getting a cold.
That’s right. In the butt.
Since we are going to changing the version we are going to take this time to move the database off the depilated database server.
Besides a missing word and comma, this is funny because depilation is the removal of hair. If something is depilated, it means hair has been removed from it.
I’m pretty sure the author meant deprecated, but dilapidated could also be used for dramatic flair.
